1989+2010 Delaware Watergap from Hope (N1)

Originally painted in 1989 and partially restored by Uta-Heike herself in 2010, this is one of the most impressive works Uta-Heike produced. This big picture shows the view from the balcony in Hope, a wide valley with millions of trees and the Delaware water gap in the distance. (125x64cm) It is not for sale.

Travelling from Geneva to Germany, you pass through the Hills of Upper Bern (Berner Oberland). This shows the fruit trees in bloom in an April storm. (58x49cm) Not for sale.

Jardin d’Iris – 1978 (N3)

While she lived in Vaud in 1978 Uta-Heike was impressed by the beautiful colors of the flowers in the Jardin d’Iris a the Chateau de Vullierens in Switzerland near Lausanne. She painted the flowers in exquise detail. (94x68cm) Sold.

Fall in New Jersey In Uta-Heikes own words: “The Indian summer is beautiful on the East Coast. There are no such bright autumn colors in Europe, because there are some completely different trees over there.” This was painted from memory in Geneva. Sold.

This painting shows the house in Geneva that Uta-Heike, Axel and their children lived from 1976 until the mid 1980s. We called it Villa Axutroje. It is in Chene-Bougeries. Sold.

Life is not always easy, this self-portrait painted in 1978 in Geneva reflects that. It shows a tree trimmed after a storm with the sawn off branches neatly stacked in the foreground and a sunset in the background. Sold.

Delaware Watergap close up – 1989 (N49)

This painting shows the appartment block that Uta-Heike, Axel and their children lived in in Kaarst in the 1970’s. It is grey and foggy but balanced out by Uta-Heikes view of hope in the shape of a beautiful Magnolia Tree. Painted from Memory in 1987. (40x64cm) Available.

Initially painted as a simple landscape with a corn field in the front, Uta-Heike later added a balloon festival with shadows of people on the fields looking up at the beautiful colorful balloons. (44x34cm).Available.
